Royal purple with lighter band around petals,
white outline on sepals, light watermark and bright green throat.
I know here at Topgun Daylilies we are known for our doubles.
However, we cannot simply IGNORE when a great single arises, and in the
case of Topguns Modern Aristocracy it certainly did that! The
flower has an almost satin finish, holding up well in our blistering
Oklahoma sun. It is a strong grower and increases rapidly.
But we have to talk about the scape. This flower will has the
best overall scape we have ever bloomed here, single or double.
It is well spaced like a candelabra, and does not all bloom at
once. Best of all, it sends up lots of scapes through the season
and reblooms strong in Oklahoma. I hope you get to enjoy this fun
daylily as much as I have. Considering it is very fertile both
ways means you could have even MORE fun!
